Mit der Single „Realize“ – der ersten Auskopplung aus seinem dritten Studioalbum – präsentiert der Schweizer Singer-Songwriter Moritz Schlanke einen Song, der international klingt, sofort ins Ohr geht und seine unverwechselbare Handschrift trägt. Geschrieben, gesungen, produziert und gemischt von ihm selbst, eingespielt von nationalen und internationalen Top-Musikern, schlägt der Zürcher Oberländer damit das nächste Kapitel seiner musikalischen Reise auf. Seine Stimme ist wärmer und kantiger geworden, seine Songtexte haben noch mehr an Tiefe und Persönlichkeit gewonnen. „Realize“ klingt nach erdigem Pop-Rock, verfeinert durch einem Hauch Country.
Nach fast einem Jahrzehnt meldet sich Moritz Schlanke mit seinem bekannten Stil zurück. „Realize“ heisst die erste Single seines dritten Studioalbums, das 2026 erscheinen wird. In diesem sehr persönlichen Song singt er über Beständigkeit und bedingungslose Hingabe in einer Beziehung: Auch wenn die Zeit unaufhaltsam vergeht und das Leben manchmal grau wirkt – das, was zählt, ist Vertrauen, Nähe und die Schönheit des Alltäglichen. Über Moritz Schlanke
Schon früh machte Moritz Schlanke sich mit seinem Radiohit „Good Girl“ (2008) einen Namen, der beim M4Music Festival entdeckt wurde und als Sommerhit auf den grössten Schweizer Radiosendern lief. Mit dem Debütalbum „Piece of Gold“ (2011) tourte er durch die Schweiz und stand im Line-Up renommierter Festivals neben Pegasus, 77 Bombay Street, Stefanie Heinzmann oder Marc Sway. 2013 wurde der Ustermer zudem mit einer Goldenen Schallplatte für seinen Beitrag zu einem Compilation-Album ausgezeichnet, das sich über 15’000 Mal verkaufte. Sein zweites Album „Sunset Tales“ (2016) landete in den Schweizer Album-Charts – alle 14 Songs fanden ihren Weg ins Radio.
2017 präsentierte er zusammen mit der Swing- und Jazz-Formation The Royal Rhythms eine selbst produzierte EP und trat daraufhin regelmässig bei Jazz-Festivals auf. Ende 2024 veröffentlichte Moritz Schlanke den herzerwärmenden Weihnachtssong „It Feels Like Christmas“, begleitet von einem komplett selbst produzierten KI-Musikvideo – dem ersten dieser Art überhaupt. Am 29. August 2025 erschien „Du bisch mir wichtig“, ein Herzens-Song zugunsten des Fördervereins für Kinder mit seltenen Krankheiten (KMSK).
Jetzt ist Schlanke mit „Realize“ zurück bei seinen Wurzeln angekommen. Die nächste Single folgt bereits Ende November.

About Moritz Schlanke
Moritz Schlanke first made a name for himself in 2008 with his radio hit “Good Girl”, which was discovered at the M4Music Festival and went on to become a summer hit on Switzerland’s biggest radio stations. With his debut album “Piece of Gold” (2011), he toured across Switzerland and shared festival stages with Pegasus, 77 Bombay Street, Stefanie Heinzmann, and Marc Sway. In 2013, the artist from Uster was awarded a Gold Record for his contribution to a compilation album that sold over 15,000 copies. His second album “Sunset Tales” (2016) entered the Swiss album charts, with all 14 tracks receiving radio airplay.
In 2017, he presented a self-produced EP together with the swing and jazz formation The Royal Rhythms and went on to perform regularly at jazz festivals. At the end of 2024, Schlanke released the heartwarming Christmas single “It Feels Like Christmas”, accompanied by a fully self-produced AI music video – the very first of its kind. On August 29, 2025, he followed up with “Du bisch mir wichtig”, a heartfelt song dedicated to the Association for Children with Rare Diseases (KMSK).
Now, with “Realize”, Schlanke returns to his roots. The next single will already follow in late November.
